The hotel is in a secluded area, surrounded by nature, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Came here for 3 nights with my animals, everything was perfect. The location was exceptional - close to bars and restaurants. The rooms were absolutely stunning and beautiful here with aircon and a bathroom, as example.

exceptionally comfortable bed, room was beautiful, with a writing table and a private entrance. garden view was a good bonus. the location was marvellous, at a walking distance from st paul's church.

The birdwatching in Hwange is amazing, I'm sure I spotted every single bird species known to man. The food at Gobelo Bar & Grill was so unique, I had no idea what I was eating half the time.

Who needs bedside lights to read when you can strain your eyes in the dark? And pegs to hang clothes?

The location here is fantastic and the beds are incredibly comfortable, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and the meals are delicious.

Hwange is a birder's paradise, with diverse habitats and a variety of bird species. I had the privilege of attending public forums with Traditional Chiefs - thrilling. The professional guides made my days at Hwange National Park filled with beauty and drama. Just delightful!

Oh, how disappointing! The food options were as limited as my patience.

The resort features an outdoor swimming pool, allowing guests to relax and cool off in the hot African sun. It's like taking a refreshing dip in an oasis in the middle of the wildlife-filled desert.

Lack of waterhole nearby.

Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, knowledgeable game ranger, amazing elephant sightings, quirky and rustic decor, spacious and comfortable chalets, delicious food.

Had a nice Christmas stay with family. The property had a stylish and clean vibe. Staff were friendly. Enjoyed the game viewing trips and saw elephants and hyenas. Great location close to the national park.

Limited food options, sometimes only one choice available. Pool cleaning disrupted relaxation, noisy and took too long.

I had a fantastic stay at a lodge close to Hwange national park. The location was ideal, just a few minutes from the main gate, allowing me to easily access the park for my safari adventure. The rooms were simple, but clean and had everything I needed. The staff at the hotel were exceptional, providing excellent service and going above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Additionally, the food at the lodge's restaurant was delicious, offering a satisfying dining experience.

The Gwango Heritage Resort was a great stay. The staff were friendly - the swimming pool was clean, and the location was close to Hwange national park. We loved the elephants that visited the camp, and the handmade furniture was a nice touch. The food was excellent, and the staff even made a birthday cake for my child. Truly exceptional!

What an incredible experience we had at Gwango Heritage Resort! Our stay was for 4 days and we were amazed by the African village-like ambiance. The thatched roof, open air reception, and lounge area created a unique atmosphere. We loved being surrounded by freely roaming animals in the bush surrounds. The evening fire pit gatherings with fellow travelers from around the world were such a joy. The staff, including Pinkie, Greta, Mduduzi, and Mona Lisa, were extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing stay at a lovely lodge near Hwange National Park. Great value for money with clean rooms, comfy beds, and hot water. The location was perfect, just 3 km from the park, and the staff were friendly and hospitable.

The breakfast option could have been improved with more variety.
